Sign Production Specialist

POSITION OVERVIEW

We seek to hire a positive, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Sign Production Specialist.

TYPE Full-time

SALARY/WAGES Dependent on experience.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

● Operate fabrication equipment, primarily engravers, and CNC routers to create high quality office and personal signage. ● Perform thorough cleaning and quality checks of all products before passing them on to other departments. ● Efficiently produce a wide variety of signs to reach and exceed departmental production goals and meet tight deadlines. ● Understand machine capabilities and processes to help maximize efficiency and quality. ● Learn to troubleshoot variances in materials and make machine adjustments accordingly. ● Assist with prototyping new processes and signage ideas to increase our catalog of products. ● Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Office Sign Company and affiliated brand’s products and services. ● Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of production equipment to ensure high quality products and efficient production. ● Be able to communicate clear needs and ideas through verbal and written communication in a positive, professional manner. ● Consistent communication to your team and manager. ● Assist in the design and fabrication of custom signage to help our customers with their needs using a multitude of materials and processes.

Secondary SECONDARY DUTIES:

●Provide backup support to other production departments with the willingness to jump in and help when necessary. ● Research industry trends on signage and educate team members on research. ● Contribute to departmental discussions about operations and growth. ● Contribute to high-level discussions about department operations and growth. ● Other duties or responsibilities as assigned by your manager. ● Additional duties assigned by management.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

● At least 3 years of experience in the signage industry or related fields. ● Knowledge or prior experience utilizing Adobe Illustrator, or similar software. ● Previous experience with maintaining shop equipment and materials, as well as troubleshooting and diagnosing machine malfunctions/failures. ● Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. ● Must have excellent attention to detail and accuracy. ● Must possess a strong knowledge in technology, including computers, manufacturing equipment, and RIP software. ● Understanding of layout principles.

Large Format Printer Operator

● Operating and maintaining the large format Uv printers ● Printing artwork on various materials and products ● Efficiently produce a wide variety of signs to reach and exceed departmental production goals and meet tight deadlines. ● Assist in the design and fabrication of custom signage to help our customers with their needs using a multitude of materials and processes.. ● Understand machine capabilities and processes to help maximize efficiency and quality. ● Learn to troubleshoot variances in materials and make machine adjustments accordingly. ● Assist with prototyping new processes and signage ideas to increase our catalog of products. ● Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Office Sign Company and affiliated brand’s products and services. ● Assessing inventory levels for materials, supplies, and parts used ● Demonstrate an enthusiasm and passion for what you do ● Cross-train within and across the departments to be able to help out in additional tasks when needed ● Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of production equipment to ensure high quality products and efficient production. ● Be able to communicate clear needs and ideas through verbal and written communication in a positive, professional manner. ● Consistent communication to your team and manager.

●Operation of Roll-to-Roll printers ● Assisting in plotting, weeding, and applying vinyl ● Be willing to help other departments to gain knowledge and understanding of all our processes and procedures ● Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our products, services, and machine capabilities ● Help make improvements in efficiency and processes ● Additional duties assigned by management.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

● 2+ years prior experience operating large format printers ● Detail-oriented, dependable, accountable, team-player, positive attitude ● General computer knowledge ● Have an understanding of Adobe Illustrator and knowledge of Adobe Creative Suites ● Understand most design terminology, principles, and tools ● Be able to adapt, and show resourcefulness ● Possess strong interpersonal communication skills ● Be able to work in a fast-paced environment ● Have the ability to manage multiple projects and complete these upon strict deadlines ● Be able to lift up to 75 lbs ● Be able to stand for long periods of time

Inventory and Receiving Specialist

Office Sign Company, LLC is an exciting, expanding sign production company based in Fargo, North Dakota. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory and Receiving Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing all aspects of inventory control, receiving, and storage within our organization. This role requires a strong understanding of inventory management procedures, exceptional attention to accuracy, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments, including the accounting team and CEO, to ensure seamless operations. Additionally, this role may involve providing support to other departments during peak workloads.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We seek to hire a positive, detail-oriented,and self-motivated Inventory and Receiving Specialist.

SALARY/WAGES Dependent on experience.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

● Operating and maintaining the large format Uv printers ● Receiving and Inspection: Receive incoming shipments and verify their contents against purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and quality. Conduct thorough inspections of received goods to identify any damages or discrepancies and communicate findings to relevant parties. Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to resolve any shipment-related issues promptly. ● Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records through meticulous data entry and utilization of inventory management software. Organize and label items appropriately in designated storage areas for easy access and retrieval. Perform regular physical counts of inventory to reconcile discrepancies and ensure accurate stock levels. Implement and maintain a system for tracking stock movements, including transfers, returns, and disposals. Especially monitoring employee checkout of inventory items. ● Documentation and Reporting: Generate and maintain accurate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and related metrics for management review. Prepare and communicate inventory status reports, highlighting trends and potential areas for improvement. Assist in analyzing data to identify opportunities to optimize inventory management processes and minimize carrying costs. ● Collaboration: Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure efficient flow of goods from receiving to storage and distribution. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address stock shortages, overages, and inventory-related challenges. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including the accounting team and CEO, to provide timely updates on inventory status and resolve any issues. ● Support during Peak Workloads:Assist other departments during busy periods by lending a hand in tasks that align with your expertise, such as data entry, order processing, or inventory-related duties. Cross training in other departments such as Shipping or Quality Control would be a large benefit to the organization. ● Process Improvement: Identify process inefficiencies and propose solutions to enhance inventory control procedures and overall operational effectiveness. Participate in regular meetings to share insights and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. ● Compliance and Safety:Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols when handling and storing inventory items. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies related to inventory management and receiving procedures. ● Consistent communication to your team and manager.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

● Experience with Brightpearl and its integrated Demand Planner module is highly advantageous for this Inventory Specialist role. Proficiency in navigating and utilizing the Brightpearl software, particularly its Demand Planner functionality, demonstrates a candidate's ability to efficiently manage inventory levels and optimize demand forecasting. Familiarity with these tools will enable the candidate to seamlessly integrate inventory data, sales projections, and supply chain insights, ultimately contributing to the precision and effectiveness of inventory management strategies. While not a strict requirement, candidates with experience in utilizing Brightpearl and its Demand Planner module will be better positioned to make an immediate impact in streamlining our inventory processes and enhancing overall operational efficiency.
